Included in the pack – Choice of craft gin & 24 Cushiedoos tonic
- TWO bottles of Scottish craft gin
South Loch Gin – Citrus & Lime Flower – 56 North in Edinburgh has a clear love of gin, considering it stocks over 400 gins and runs gin masterclasses, and this affinity has grown to include creating its very own gin using its very own copper pot stills! With a name inspired by a bit of local history, South Loch Citrus & Lime Flower Gin boasts a big ol’ bundle of floral citrus deliciousness alongside hints of peppery juniper.
South Loch Gin – Black Raspberry Old Tom – Coming to us all the way from Edinburgh, produced by the same folks behind the 56 North bar, South Loch Black Raspberry Old Tom brings a jammy, fruity twist on the classic style of gin. It’s not sweet it’s a more classic style with an underlying fruit finish.
Rock Rose Gin – is made at the Dunnet Bay Distillery all the way up in Caithness, Scotland. This very northerly gin features an alluring botanical selection including locally harvested Rhodiola Rosea, Rowan Berries, Sea Buckthorn, Blaeberries, Verbena, Coriander Seed, Cardamom and Juniper from two different countries – Italy and Bulgaria. They use a traditional copper pot still, which of course has a name (it’s Elizabeth).
Biggar Gin – Yep, this gin really does hail from the small Scottish town of Biggar! The two brothers who founded the distillery aim to use local botanicals wherever possible, including rowan berries, nettles and lavender. The gin is produced in batches of only 200 bottles at a time, and weighs in at 43% ABV. Whack a ribbon of orange peel in a G&T with this one.
- 24 glass bottle case of Cushiedoos tonic 200ml
This is a quinine-free zone! Cushiedoos pride themselves on local ingredients, no artificial sweeteners, and no preservatives. But what makes this tonic really stand out is the use of yellow gentian and wormwood for bittering, instead of quinine. Not only does this remove the drying feeling, but it makes for a naturally lighter tonic, since the gentle, rounded bitterness takes 24% less sugar than other premium tonics to perfect the flavours. Add the Scottish Cairngorm mountain water, Scottish heather and silver birch botanicals, and you have an excellent, and unique tonic water.
