Kitchen & Chef Team

Food is a large part of 56 North.  Our kitchen team, with head chef Robert Brown, takes exceptional pride in homemade food, which is wholesome, seasonal and prepared in house.

Our menu revolves around our BERTHA lumpwood charcoal oven.

BERTHA can cook at temperatures as high as 500 degrees with real charcoal for steaks, burgers, fish, chicken and any assortment of meat cuts, particularly on the bone.

All our butchery is Farm Assured.  We are very proud where possible to promote local suppliers.

  • All tables are booked for 2hrs
  • Kitchen – 11am to 9pm daily
  • Under 18s are welcome to 9pm
  • We do not reserve outside tables
  • If you can’t find a time slot to suit you with the online booking form, or have specific requirements, please send us details using the contact page.
  • The bar has disabled entrance, but our toilets are down a set of stairs
